Our Story

Jasmine and Emily met while working at Stanford University’s School of Medicine in the Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Program and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Clinic. They connected over their shared passion for treating complex trauma and supporting individuals in the brave work of healing from trauma and moving toward meaningful lives. They are both founding members of the Stanford DBT Trauma Services Team. Emily has been instrumental in developing and directing assessment and treatment matching for patients with PTSD and complex PTSD. Jasmine directs the DBT Couples and Family Program at Stanford, helping high conflict family systems understand what drives relationship challenges and how to rebuild connection. With Emily’s expertise for evidence-based psychotherapies for PTSD and Jasmine’s specialization in trauma, relational, and Couples and family therapy, they have joined forces to create a boutique group practice focused on providing high quality trauma-informed care to individuals and families.
